I come from a long line of Hairdressers on both sides of my family and you could even say my career started as young as 10 when I swept floors in my Grandmothers Salon. I have so much passion for Hair. I believe I was put on this earth to make people look and feel beautiful. While finishing school at 16 I was already working as many hours as possible in the Salon and began my apprenticeship at 17. In Ireland apprenticeships are four years and I decided that I would love to do some schooling also.
At 19 I came to my Grandmother in America and trained in one of the very first Paul Mitchell Schools. Receiving a license meant I could now practice anywhere in the world which I proceeded to do.
I went on to work in One of Dublin's top salons and then Australia finally settling with my family in San Francisco.
Having done hair now for 20 years I specialize in color in particular freehand techniques and color corrections, male and female cutting and extensions.
I believe that communication is key and always want to make sure that my guests needs are heard. I believe in continuing to learn all the time and I think this is one of the best things about doing hair, it is an ever changing world that you need to keep up with.
Having spent a bulk of my career in Ireland in Mentoring situations I am extremely passionate about teaching & am always trying to pass this onto my clients in teaching them the best ways to maintain their hair & styles at home.
